Here is one tip that seems odd but it really works well on shower doors and tile. Spray a little bit of furniture polish on the walls and the doors. This repels the water and keeps the filmy-white water spots from forming. I cleaned hotel rooms and houses for over 20 years and this really does work for water spots. I can't give you any mold or mildew removal tips though, that stuff is almost inpossible to control. ( Don't use the furniture polish on the bottom of the tub or it will be slippery).
