Swallow any misgivings and be honest...Tell him you want to break up. If you have been in a relationship, you owe him that much.....

Be as open as honest as possible.  If you leave things too long it can become worse and the break up more difficult. Also, if you are unhappy the relationship may turn completely miserable and the two of you will end up truly disliking each other.

   Get him really drunk. Next invite a real hot girlfriend over, have a 3-way. And as he's having a good time with the hot friend tell him you'd like to do that more with lots of others. Can't fail. You will still be occasional friends and no real hard feelings. I know it sounds sleazy but, we have all done worse. And of course YOU ask.
