You can buy a sennheiser headset, they have a great sound quality but they are also pretty expensive ($200). If you want quality in a low price then go for the Turtle Beach p21 ($75). It's a very good headset but not as good as a Sennheiser headset. If you don't care about he price then the best headset for the PS3 is an Astro headset + mixamp ($250).
