WHAT KIND OF VEHICLE DO YOU DRIVE MOST OFTEN

.....and if you could chose your ride, what would it be?  AND, what was your first vehicle?  Any interesting background as to how you got it, special memories, etc.
I PUT THE '?' at the end of the question.....really!

My first car was a 70 Buick Skylark, followed by an Olds Cutlass Supreme (which I loved). Another Olds, which burned up in a freak experience, then an 86 Toyota pickup, which I would still have if the XBF hadn't wrecked it. Honda Accords (2), Toyota Tercel and Corona, Chevy Silverado, Jeep (fun), Hyundai Santa Fe (3, and is my current car). OH YEAH, the 1990 Mitsubishi Van we had for our family ride. I think my ex still has it. :D

i did have a 1979 triumph spitfire..1500, granted it wasn't the fastest hotrod  around , but never was i in a race to get anywhere.. except home from work and off to  the beach with my friends. i got more comments as well as compliments over this one car than all my other cars combined.she was a looker, it was strictlly stock when i bought it, but 6 months later and about 5 grand i pimped this car out beyond beleif... god i miss this car..it was so bad instead of having a cruise control  it had a cruise director..

One of my cars was a 1974 MGB-GT,she was a looker but did she nickle and dime me too death, plus you could'nt drive her in these Cleveland winters.Sat about four inchs off the ground and on a good day in the winter here we get six inchs of snow.

I don't drive anymore, I take the bus...But the best car I even had was a 1967 Chevy Impala SS convertible, with wide tires and glass packs........

I love love love my little Ford Mustang.  It is cute.  My friends look 'all that' in the passenger seat.  My boy, husband and dogs all fit inside and it is sweet to drive.  The stereo goes way up loud for Pearl Jam et all.  I am in car heaven.  I always wanted one and now I have one and I am happy ... car happy.

My first car was a Dodge Colt with a Mitsubishi engine ... genius, that little engine.  Took me all over and beyond.  The car fell apart around that little engine that could.  I received $50.00 for trade in ... I just loved that little blue car.

Actually, I think I may be easy to please... go figure.

    Curious.

    Bob/PKB

You in a Mustang makes perfect sense!
    FISH-O

You have a vision of me! I bet it's bang on.
    Bob/PKB

    It is all good!

I drive my Mazda twin cab pickup mostly because it's economical & utilitarian.

Most of our cars you wouldn't recognize if I listed some of the 100 or so cars & trucks that I have owned in my life.

The car I would love...Audi A6. At one time the fastest production car in the world.

    Bob/PKB

100 cars/trucks you have owne in your life! How did you go through so many vehicles? You're exchanging more often than annually???
Do name some of those cars and trucks that will be "foreign" for me. We don't get much education about other countries here in the (it's all about ) US.
    Tommyh

Holdens,(Kingswood,Belmont & Commodore).Ford, our locally made Fords still wear the "Falcon" badge & they are great cars.Austin,Morris Vauxhall,Simca,VW.
    Dodge & Chrysler "Valiant".Renault.
I am not known for having 1 vehicle at a time.I have owned up to 6 cars at a time.We can talk about trucks some other time.Haha. Do you know what a ute is?
    dunc

a lot of those named are General Motors which are American in origin Austin Morris are long since dead due to the dicks that run this country. Chrysler own Dodge which is American again and Renault are bloody French in origin and the less said about the Frogs the better . Mazdas parent company Ford which is also American although made in Japan not much Australian content in your list of vehicles
    Tommyh

    Dunc,Your point?????
I never said anything about Australian content in my answer.Read it properly. For your information :- The Ford Falcon we have was fully developed in this country, for this country. The Holden Commodore which was originally developed from an Opel has now been gradually redeveloped for this country,Some models are now exported to the USA with Pontiac badges.Regardless of parent companies & where they come from we do develope & produce our own vehicles in this country.

    Holden Monaro alias Pontiac.""

Dodge Hemi Magnum is my 'daily driver' and I have a hobby car, Corvette LT1 6 spd.. I like to just polish that one and park it..  Don't drive it much, might put a scratch on it.

    Bob/PKB

Can't blame you for the Corvette! Friend of mine got himself one; he DOES drive it, but parks it all by its lonesome when he can. It's scratch- free still, but probably because he doesn't take 3-4 parking spaces at one time, even in a busy lot. :D
    Vinny

People that do that are asking for a 'keyjob'.. My thing is I will look for a car/cars that are nice, new ones if I can, I will park next to them because I know they respect their own car enough that they won't swing the door too wide to keep from scratching their own car. park next to a clunker and you'll get a door bang.

I drive a 1994 Cadillac. We bought it used in very good condition. I am now spoiled.

    ClevelandRick

One of my many car's I've had in my life was a 1980 Cadillac Fleetwood, also in very good condition, man I loved that car.
    Bob/PKB

My dad never bought a Cadillac; one time someone asked him why not. He said he didn't want to drive a car that was better than what all his customers were driving. lol Lots of Buicks...and a pink pontiac when we were little kids. My mom hated that Pepto Bismal pink.

An Audi A4 3litre TDI, and a Ford Transit Van, when working.

I have two cars registered in my name, my partner drives a blue 2006 Hyundai Getz 1.6 and i drive a 2010 Honda Accord V6, a little different from my first car , a 1949 Austin A40, the car i would lke to have a 20011 Holden Monaro jet black tuned for the American market, sold as a Pontiac, maybe in the coming year.

    Bob/PKB

I've never seen a Pontiac look that good!

I probably spend more time in my Mercedes, than in my Chevy truck. I just bought a rag top mustang and it is also a cool ride.

    Bob/PKB

Really interested in that Mustang....when you have time, more info??
    ed shank

2011 GT still breaking it in, HARD.

Funny you should ask...  Iwas thinking about this very thing yesterday as I was driving... I drive a Chevy trail Blazer. I would like something better on gas ans a little sporty.

One time he sold the car I drove to work right out of the parking lot, I had to catch a ride home. My favorite was a 1963 Corvair, baby blue. I have driven many cars everything from a 58 Chevy Nomad to a Yugo to a Cruiser to the 2006 Toyota Scion XB that I drive now.
