Find Grandma something to do. Don't let her worry you to death. Is that what she's up to. There are games, books, tv shows. get her a doll a dog a kitten. get her a jug and help her collect something like marbles, dice, pennies. Don't let her drive you up the wall though. Read her a story and they let her know its personal and/or quiet time.

My grandmother had (marajauna) tea parties in her seventies with friends and they would sit around and crack jokes and tell raunchy stories all afternoon in 1949. I was five at the time and the FBI (regular visitors) came by to tell her the government had made pot illegal. She cried all afternoon. How could they be so crewel?

What a hilarious story. I was a pot smoker in my teens and 20's. One time I thought I was about to be busted and I called my grandmother in tears asking her what I should do. She came over to my house and put all my bongs and other paraphernalia in the trunk of her car and took them home with her. She was so cool.

First, Pay attention to her. Ask her questions. Make her feel needed and important, and then maybe she'll shut up . And give her something to do to feel useful, like peeling potatoes, or knitting a blanket for the baby.

Instead of telling grandma to be QUITE, maybe you should ask grandma to help you with your spelling. Once you learn that, she might be QUIET. I know if I were your grandma, I would probaby have plenty to say to you...oh yeah.
