      like mitchmar says Caesar Milan to me is the best book on the market he really does understands dogs more than anyone you can noramlly see him on the tv but you can also get dvds on from amazon

        I would go to your local bookstore and thumb through the books available.  There are many ways to train a dog ... the training style has to suit you.  You will know once you find the book.

          I say anything that Caesar Milan has written.  He is magical with dogs, so totally understands them, and that is why he is the Dog Whisperer.  Seeing him in action is astonishing!
