I love dogs...especially Retrievers...the whole lot of them. They are loving, have a sense of humor and you can teach them how to smile.

A cat. They are very quiet. They don't really bother you. All you have to do is keep fresh water and food in their bowl, keep a clean litter box, brush their fur, put a flea collar on them, and give them some attention when they come around you. Although cats don't like water, they will let you bathe them if they trust you. My cats, Lenny and Teddy was like that until they died. Teddy disappeared over a weekend, when he came back he looked crazy. He look like he had been on a drug binge and he was very dirty. I think he ate some poison. He became very sick and lost weight. The vet couldn't help him. Lenny just died of old age.

I'm sorry about your cats,..especially Teddy. It's so hard when they are suffering and there is little you can do to help them. I LOVE cats, too. They just evoke feelings of a connectedness and love when I see one. So beautiful and graceful and regal.
