As long as you had the driver disc, I would assume you'd be able to do it through a USB cable. In having a laptop you most likely have a wireless router, in which case you could also hardwire between the router and printer and make it work that way. Many printers are not wireless, and that's a straightforward approach to making the link between wireless and wire connected.
