    eenartist, I researched your question using The King James Version and the modern version of The Bible called The Book.  As you know Thessalonians 1:1-10  is a letter from Paul, Silas, and Timothy to the church in Thessalonica.   Looking in the King James Version  I do see some names such as Silvanus which was shortened to Silas in The Book.  The cities of Macedonia and Achaia are mentioned in the King James Version yet have been changed to just Greece in the Modern version.  Other than that  I don't see much difficulty in the names.  Maybe I am misunderstanding your question? r/yvonne57
