It is natual for cats to shed hair. If it becomes a problem, buy a fine tooted comb and comb her coat once a day.

It is a sad and true fact that cats shed.  All over the house.  Every single day and it's much worse in the spring.

I am getting a hairless cat next time.

Just joking.  I don't look for cats they look for me ... which means that I am my cat's pet.  I don't shed that much.  Lucky cat.

all cats shed sorry to say in spring and in autum try brushing Monet she will like it, well some cats adore to be brushed and others hate it give it a try, and this will help with the shedding good luck  

1. Cat is too warm. Keep it below 70 degrees in the house, and keep its fur damp if outside in warmer weather.
2. Don't feed it food with grains, especially corn. Make sure food has omega 3's in it, or add a dab of olive oil, or salmon oil to its food each day. (Will also help with hairballs)
3. If the cat doesn't like to be brushed, dampen your hands and stroke the fur, removing the fur from your hands on each swipe.
