You need a son in law like mine Itsmee. A complete computer geek.LOL.

He is always adding something on for me.I don't even know how to use most of it.

Geez that doesn't sound like a good life span.I bought my computer off Captain Cook.That's how old it is.Of course my son in law has upgraded it a few times but it's still going strong.

I paid a hundred dollars for an on-screen  tutorial today.  omg, I don't understand the tutorial! I've been using a computer for 15-20 years and now they've gone and changed everything. 

I used to know some geeks. I should never have left them. I should have brought them with me when i moved. 

A lot of this equipment has built-in obsolescence, for instance many printers are designed to die after a certain number of pages have been printed. This is all so people will buy new when this happens.

It is called capitalism

My laptops usually last two years, than I upgrade. Mine are in the shop and get beat to hell.
