    How to go about challenging my brother's will in Italy. I am American citizen.

    I would like to know con ents of will.  His cook said he left everything to her.  However, as a blood relative am I entitled to receive anything?  I just want to know my rights.  Should I contact Italian Con sultate in NY or go to any lawyer with these questions.  If I am entitled, I would like to do it on a contingent fee basis as I am a senior citizen with not too much money.  His cousins in Italy are surprised he did not leave anything to them and she inherited their grandmother's family home which has many family heirlooms they would like.  The woman has offered nothing.

      Make sure that it is worth a challenge.  Lawyers fees are very high so your inheritance will have to cover the cost and hopefully leave you happy with the outcome.
