    Here in Australia the Public Trustees office will step in.I would imagine there would be a similar Govt.office in the US.

    In California, there is a Public Conservator's office in my county (Fresno).  I imagine the estate would be managed by personnel in that office.  I do know HOW the estate is divided up, if you are interested in knowing that....depends on your country of citizenship....Let me know via comment here if you want more info from USA
