How do you keep fruit flies away?

Get a bowl and an old banana mash it up, add some wine or juice to just cover the mashed banana, add a little dish soap and stir, cover the bowl with saran wrap and poke a few small holes so the fruit fly can crawl in but can't get out. Works like a charm. To keep them out you have to either keep all your fruit in the fridge and take the peelings out to the compost or have your fruit sealed in an airtight container. I also spray a bleach and water solution in my sinks and on my dish cloth as well as the dish rack. If there is standing water, they will be attracted, keep up on your dishes and leave no food out. They are little buggers to get rid of. Good luck.

    do not see the fruit

    Don't feed them......

spay bug poison in a bowl if there's many use the whole can then put fruit any kind after that set the bowl where ever the flies are coming then when the flies come they will be dead if that doesnt work then u need to call a pest control dude.

A whole can of bug poison? This would make even people sick. The fruit flies hatch from the fruit itself. Removing the peel is the best way to cut back the fruit fly population since the eggs are in the skin of the fruit.
