    why has voting been made compulsary in the uk?

    No Voting is not compulsory in the UK thank God we have choise

    Voting is not compulsory in the UK, you have the right to refuse to vote. Australians are required to vote and can be fined if they don't.

    Voting is not compulsory in the UK, you can choose not to vote or vote for who you agree with.


    Mind you, I know alot of people who havn't a clue what they are voting for anyway, so its just as well we have that choice.
