    Would you be a have a go Hero ?

    There was an elderly lady on UK telivision last night got an award for bravery, she stopped 4 or 5 yobs who were attempting to rob a jewelry store. She ran form across the road handbag flying and laid each one out with her handbag. worring thing was no one else came to help her, and there were severel grown up men around who just watched and did nothing. would you have done something to help ?

      I would call the police. I would not do something as nutty as she did. That's not bravery, that's stupidity. Sorry. She's damned lucky.

        Yes I think she was a bit daft taking them on on her own, I think it was a bit cowardly of the grown men to stand back and watch though, they did nothing to help her.They were yobs on motor scooters so a group of grown men could have taken them on. Most men I know would have helped her,well depending on what part of the UK they are in.I see ypur point though, but you are less lightly to be stabbered or shot in the UK than you are in the USA.
