    When traveling international does medication have to be in original containers?

    You bet it should! Otherwise, especially depending on whether or not it could be considered a narcotic, it could look like your trying to smuggle something into a foreign country. Some places, you really don't want that to become an issue. You can get yourself into trouble here in the United States by carrying controlled narcotic medications in an un-labeled container...as it makes it look like they were not prescribed to you, and you have no immediate proof on you that they were.
