Did you tell this to the company who is suppose to be connecting your service? We can not make them go faster. You need to talk to them. 

If you are going to be using AT&T welcome to AT&T hell they do not show up they do not call they do not keep their promises.  I dropped them and will never use AT&T ever again.   For a communications company their customer service sucks big time and they do not even know how to communicate with each other about what has been promised to a customer to be done to get service.

That covers the phone stuff. Now to the inter net , If you have senior centers in your area they all have computer classes of some kind. These services are available and there are many people to help . Its time to start using some of the many services offered. At 77 you surely qualify . Have fun with your computer and watch out for the scams . Rule number 1 is if someone asks you for money on line its a scam no matter how good the story is .
