I happen to live 5 miles from Detroit Metro airport. From Canton, Mich, Take Michigan Ave east to Merrimen Rd. Turn right on Merrimen which then leads right up to the airport.Follow the signs for Southwest Airlines. Southwest is in the new MacNamara Terminal. It's the south terminal.
