      How very sad, about your poor dog. Think best thing to do is, get advice fr your Vet., your poor old pet, deserves that, after all yrs. (good advice)

        it certainly sounds like the right thing to do ,,if the poor old fella is suffering,..17 years old sounds like he had a good long life... 119 years in dog years..i'm sure you love him..
