    why do the gas price in canada go up?

    It seems that any time there is trouble in those parts of the world that produce oil the price of gasoline goes up...curious how it very rarely goes down.  When the price of oil goes up so does everything else.


    We produce oil here in Canada so it is a little frustrating. 


    I walk whenever I can and I try and run all my errands on the same day...it helps.
