    do you cut old growth off of snap dragon flowers in the fall to make them bloom

     have had snap dragons come back even after a hard frost and snow I cut them back in early spring as there seeds still some times pop in early spring so you would have baby plants next year but you will get agood crop from them and please note the slugs hate them!

    Cutting them back in the summer while the weather is conducive to growing results in a nice rebloom.


    But in the fall,  unless you are in a zone 7 or 8 they probably won't grow outside.  They don't survive northern winters.
