Lose, no.  Loosen, I don't know.

If he's healthy, not overweight, not under a lot of stress, no illnesses such as diabetes and hypertension, and is with a decent looking partner, I don't think he'd lose interest in sex.

Why?  Is he not interested in sex any more?

    This is news to me....!

My husband is 72 and he has NOT lost it!

Your as old as the women you feel I've heard

Get him a sexy blond in mini skirt , with big boobs, you will soon find out.

    AMEN !!!

Most men no certainly not at the age of 46 - look at Charlie Chaplin. How big is the sex drive to start with and it does depend who you are with to stimulate it perhaps - not that men need so much stimulation anyway but there are times when they do..

How do you get "most men" from one boyfriend who is not interested in having sex with you? Have you tried a lot of 46 year old men to find out that most 46 year old men have no interest in having sex with you?

I thought it was the other way round

Sometimes it is the other way round visa versa applies here both ways.

Lose:  misplace, defeated (I lose my lunch when I have the flu.  I watched the Dodgers lose to the Giants in Los Angeles.)
Loose:  opposite of tight or straight-laced; moving about freely  (The neighbor's cows are out of the pen and on the loose.  John's pants are too loose around the waist.)

Do most men LOSE their sex drive at 46 or thereabouts?
From my experience (which certainly does not include most men), 46-year old guys are still quite interested in sex.
You state he has NO SEX DRIVE, and you've been dating for 10 months.  Have you ever had sex with him at all?  If not, then perhaps he is not physically attracted to you or is content to be friends without benefits.
Perhaps he doesn't engage in sex outside of marriage (it happens).
If you two had a sexual relationship and it just died, I would ask what's up that he isn't.  I would want to know why we were and now we aren't.  If this is the case, I warn you to be prepared to possibly hear something you are really not going to like.

Honey if he has lost his drive , it"s not you first thing!! You need to get him to a Doctor and find out if there is some health problems.. I bet he has some sort of medical thing going on and it will be resoveled if he goes to the Doctor...Good Luck.

ask him to get to the Doctors but dont make a issue on this as this will make it worse if you still love him and want to be with him then hang in there and be supportive with this issue

Heck no   at 56  no  at 66  could be  at 76 maybe  at 86 50/50 chance at 96 good chance at 106  last chance   hope this helps  as always we're all counting on ya!

i dont think so. In fact I think that a mans sex drive is something he has all his life. Well at least for me this is true
