All the pharmacy techs know and they could spread the word. Friends and acquaintances can’t find out what meds you’re taking. That’s a private matter like your medical record. The computer does not allow for secrets.

The Hipaa act keeps them from talking.
We have to trust the Hippa law or not take meds. Some of the techs who work in my pharm .... ooooweeee. Trust is not easy.
