.... and with that said, maybe our lives are perfect as well.
We are learning what we are learning and that is the perfection.
I want to thank you Headless man... my thinking about what you have written has inspired me to solve a problem... We are in the right place at the right time learning the lessons we are supposed to be learning...Yes!
It is just fine to look at things from a different perspective.

People like to gossip, as you mentioned Christian or Non- Christian, it's just human nature. In my opinion the best way to live your life is to let your actions speak louder than your words. I agree with the answers above and the artist formerly known as Randy Palmer. No you can't live a perfect life, unless you are Jesus.
Try not to include yourself in the gossip sessions, it's easy to get caught up in that.

a perfect life is to live life and to be yourself. that's hard because you first have to make it to 18. and if you survive that, you have to start figuring out who you are, if you were not lucky enough to have parents who let you develop into your true self. finding what you like, study it, do it, handle the unexpected pitflalls of life. smell the flowers, decide to 'don't worry, be happy'. be around good people. find a lover, be a lover, make money, appreciate everything you have. don't compare yourself with others. 'eat drink and be merry' that's a perfect life.
