Maybe ??????? Saliva is part of the digestive engine that digests the food when it hits the stomach . Think of the mouth like one of those cement mixer things . You shovel stuff in the mouth then the teeth grind it up mixing it with the saliva ,starting to break down the food to extract the nutrients from it.Hint : well chewed food digests easier . Fail to chew the food results in a lack of digestive juices to break it down . Then it gets to fermenting in the stomach creating toxic sewer gas coming out both ends . Leads to purification  and bad smelling fumes from the mouth. If you wish to be kissable  chew your food keep mouth clean and fresh  and saliva healthy. The thru the teeth over the gums ,look out stomach here it comes, approach to eating will not lead to a happy body .
