    If a dog bites a person in a park, and the owner is unknown, is the park liable for damages?

    No, I don't think so. It's not the park's fault the dog is there....

    No, the Park is not responsible. If they catch this dog however they will put him to sleep. The fault of  an irresponsible Pet owner.

    Are we talking about a public park or a dog park?
