      Keep it elevated as much as possible, soak in water as warm/hot as you can handle and add epsom salt to the water.

        Keep lots of cold packs on it, wrap it tightly in a bandage and keep off it

          Wrap towards heart and not to tight, you don't want to impede circulation.
