    when putting down floating floor do you leave spacer block or do you take it out when you are done

    Spacer block is only to establish and maintain proper spacing during installation. Keeping the spacing block in the mix wouldn't exactly leave room for expansion would it? Expansion is the reason for the spacing, so that your board doesn't swell and push upward if they needed that kind of expansion for some reason.


    Remove after installation.

    Yes remove them when you have finished, otherwise the floor can not move or expand as shootah says that's the idea of the spacers.
