Eating fish during pregnancy: fish contain methyl mercury; in high doses, methyl mercury may harm fetus's development. According to the amount of methyl mercury, some fish are safe to eat whereas others are not recommended. as a fish is higher in the food chain it accumulates more methyl mercury.
