    thanks eggplant, should I cut back on green plants as well as the brown ones?

    If the green ones are alright, just leave them. I'd cut the brown ones back a little. You could check to see if any bugs are on them. Have you given them too much water or the wrong ferilizer? I just feed mine blood 'n' bone. But I live in Australia, so maybe you should check about the fertilizer in America. Don't feed the brown ones, you might kill them.
