As with any cream or drug there are some risks involved with using Retinol cream. But as long as it is used correctly the side effects that include peeling of the skin, dry skin, red face and allergic reactions are rarely reported. It is important to follow directions and not to apply the cream on an irritated skin or open wounds. It is best to use the cream at night only especially if you are exposed to direct sun light most hours of the day. Overall it is safe to use Retinol cream but don’t forget to ask for professional advice from your cosmetician or Dermatologist.
