    is the tree dieing if mushroom grows on the root?

    Not nessicarily. Mushrooms grow on roots of trees all the time.

    I believe it depends upon the type of mushroom...there are many, some of which are poisonos...though the common non-poisonous ones shouild not be toxic to the tree as they are just a fungus (not a harmful one either) and mushrooms grow on trees above ground all the time...try googling your question though for more succinct answers than I can give.(:

    I had a pine tree with large brown and orange mushrooms around it The tree is now dead  I don't know if you can do any thing

    not at all most mushooms grow in damp conditions which is normaly where the tree is growing at the bottom and its normaly shaded and you will find mushrooms thrive in that kind of area
