      You can grow tomatoes in clay pots on the patio, using potting soil. be sure to anchor your plants to tall wooden stakes to support the vines when tomatoes start to grow. They need morning sunlight and you can feed them Miracle Grow. Good Luck!!

        Me too, but this summer they didn't do so well. They were beautiful plants, but no tomatoes!

        We grew them this year in three plant pots, they were against a wooden fence just where they caught the morning sun. we had some lovely tomatoes, the last few are just waiting to be eaten now.

        Use the Topsy-Turvey, upside-down, hanging tomato plant. They take up little room and are easy to set up and grow just about anywhere.

          Check out Hydroponics. This is a system where plants can be grown on a culture medium under artificial light if necessary. Other plants than tomatoes can also be grown.
