2x (x2 + 3x -1)
Take it one step at a time. Each number in ( ) is going to be multiplied by 2x.
2x times x2 I THINK is (2x) squared. OR (x2) squared (put a value for x and see if that works. I used 3 and got 6 x 6 which is 36, which is 2x (6) or x2 (6) squared)
I THINK 2x times 3x is 6(x squared). (Again, substitute a value for x. I used 10 and it worked)
2x times-1 is -2x
SOOO my guess is (2x)squared + 6(x squared) - 2x
I hope someone who knows this stuff gives you the right answer.

HI HAVE YOU WRITTEN THE EQUATION CORRECTLY AS THERE IS NO = SHOULD THE EQUATION BE 2X ( 2X +3X-1) =0
PLEASE CONFIRM
IF YOU HAVEWRITTEN IT CORRECTLY AND YOU JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW TO EXPAND THE BASIC NUMBERS THE
2X(2X + 3X -1) = 4 XSQ + 6 XSQ - 2X WHAT THE BRACKETS ARE TELLING YOU IS THAT ALL THE NUMBERS WITHIN THE BRACKETS CAN BE MULTIPLIED BY ANY NUMBER OUTSIDE THE BRACKETS
THEREFORE 2X MULTIPLIED BY 2X GIVES 4XSQ 2X MULITPLIED BY 3X GIVES 6XSQ AND 2X MULTIPLIED BY -1 GIVES -2X AS A PLUS NUMBER MULTIPLIED BY A MINUS NUMBER BECOMES A MINUS NUMBER
I HOPE THIS HELPS IF NOT POST ANOTHER QUESTION
