Should DNA testing at birth be available to parents?

Mother's baby: father's maybe. Until DNA testing was devised, a father could not be as sure as the mother that the child was his. This is Unequal. Also a child and its parents could not foresee genetic problems arising and do something about it. Now that DNA testing is easily done, is there any excuse for not providing the parents and the child - and perhaps health practitoners - with details of paternity amd maternity. Both isses could be dealt with without fuss. The ability currently afforded to women to forbid the DNA testing of 'their' children  in order that the real father cannot be known is against Equality.

    It is >>>http://www.dnabioservices.com.au/faq.php

There are companies which can test a saliva sample and provide a gene scan such as www.23andme.com. This will enable anyone to find genetic problems andf settle paternity questions.
