The Partridge Family.

A lot of people think it's Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, or just Segar alone.  He comes from the great state of Michigan, where I live. A LOT of very famous rockers and movie stars come from MIch.

Impossible to say, some of them have just rocked and rolled over and disappeared from the scene, some have disbanded and some have disintegrated and to pick the best is really a matter of opinion, that's my opinion.

There is no way I can pick only one  American rock band.  I will give you a list of 10 of my USA faves in no particular order.
