No, blood stays red, go cut yourself under water and see the color that comes out....

There is oxygen in water. Veins are blue because of the color of blood in the body.

No, veins are blue because they are blue... Blood only gets deeper in red color. Cut yourself inside of a plastic bag with all the oxygen sucked out...

Cut yourself under water or inside of a plastic bag and see the color of the (red) blood... It's an old wives tale that the blood is ever blue. At most it is a deep red considered magenta....
