Your dryer motor serves three main functions:
The drive belt that's attached on one side turns the drum.
The fan blade attached to the other side draws the warm
air through the drum and pushes it out the exhaust vent.
It prevents the heat from turning on if the motor doesn't
reach its proper operating speed.
