Of course. This is a very stupid rule that the JW's grossly mistranslate from their "bible" that has cost thousands of innocent lives.
They claim that the NT says that we should abstain from blood. As typical, they take this totally out of context. What is meant in context is to abstain from eating strangled animals, which was a practice among certain idol worshipers during that time period. There is nothing in the bible or God to keep you from getting a transfusion, and get out of their mind controlling organization asap!
