      You need to know the name of the bank. If you know that then you can call their corporate office to find out how to retrieve the money.

        Each State has a unclaimed property department which has monies from accounts that have been unactive for some years. I would check with them to see if anything is listed under your mothers name and make a claim for it.  Good luck and may you get what's coming to you.
