If the acceleration of an object is zero at some instant in time, what can be said about its velocity at that time?

See! acceleration is defined as the rate of change of velocity.

So, when the change in velocity is zero, then acceleration of the body is also zero.

i.e. "If the body moves with the constant velocity", the acceleration of the body at that interval of time becomes zero.

Hope this has removed your confusion. Now share the idea with your friends too.

My brain has just stoped man,

If the velocity is zero at some moment, I would say the object is not moving. Velocity is connected to speed. No velocity, no speed. Even a moving snail has velocity; a lack of velocity would indicate a standstill.

HI          THINK ABOUT IT      IF AN OBJECT IS NOT GETTING FASTER AND FASTER OR SLOWER AND SLOWER IT IS EITHER STATIONARY  OR TRAVELLING AT A CONSTANT SPEED

    HOPE THIS HELPS

it's velocity at that point would be called coasting
