Sign in to your Hotmail account.

Click "Inbox" in the left-hand window pane.

Select "New" from the Hotmail toolbar above the inbox display. The email field will pop up.

Type your 10-digit phone number, without spaces, followed by "@vtext.com." in the "To" field. For example, if your number is (609) 555-1234, type 6095551234@vtext.com in the "To" field.

Type the text or insert the media into the body of your email.

Click "Send."
