Ripening pomegranates can be done in 2 ways:
- Ripping pomegranates in the sun: place the fruits close to a window so that they will receive as much sun as possible for a few days, and check on them.
- Storing in a cool place: Store the fruits in a dry cool place and check it every once in a while, until it suits your desired ripping level.
Checking the ripening level can be done by taping on them. A metallic noise indicates they are ripe.
Neither option is guaranteed, but they should show at list a partial success.
