Yes it can depends on who initiates the subjuct in the USA in can be used as long as it only used as a reference book... however christian theology can shared only by a fellow student..

They can not say the pledge of allegiance because of the God word, they can not have morning prayer.....why do you think bibles are allowed in a classroom?
Perhaps i'm wrong but i beleive bibles are allowed only as a reference book not as a religious text.same as the koran or the torah..
They may be allowed in a school library but even then I doubt it. Anything religious has been removed from public schools, including the religious holiday parties.
