I remember as a teenager that when the phone rang, my brothers and I would run and grab it, we were all excited to find out who was calling. Nowadays we have all kinds of devices to let us know whos calling and we choose whether we want to answer or not. I have seen how things have changed us over the years. I wonder about the youth and how they know nothing different than what is todays technoligy. How it affects them socially ? What would we do if it didnt exsist ? well I think we would, entertain ourselves like we use to, gatherings, and things like hand written letters or going for walks, sounds boring I know.I only got my computer 2 months ago, and I am new to the internet as well, I pass alot of time here that would otherwise be lonely so I welcome the change but I will be carefull to keep up my walks and such.

This electronic gadget age progresses. When we get tired of one new thing another new deal won’t be far away. We may choose to ditch a lot of what we have now, but it will be to get something better. The problem is we already ditched a lot of really great stuff. Quality and craftsmanship produced products with a lifetime guarantee and thousands were employed in the appliance repair business. I liked that you could always fix up old electric lights of repair toasters for a little extra cash. Everyone I knew had some sort of home shop business and often many more ways to earn a few dollars more. Everyone worked including me as a kid. That was life. Some how we managed to to learn more than school had to offer and by the time I was 15 years of age, 60% of my class had quit school and were working. There were 7 boys and 8 girls in my high school graduating class . I don’t think we should go back to that. It seemed sweet and happy to me but I was just a kid.
