    I see where your going with this.


    If its to take that gold and sell it for cash your wasting your time AND the dishes.


    The amount of gold placed on dishes is so minute that you would need to destroy 500 dishes to get enough gold for any kind of payday.


    Then you would get the BILL for the dishes you just ruined.


    NOT WORTH IT.

    If you put them in the dishwasher the gold washes off just like that. 


    It usually is 'gold leaf' on china.  It is applied in the last firing at a low temperature and that is why it comes off very easily.  Gold leaf is very thin.

    Sure it can be taken off. You'll end up with ruined dishes and too little gold to sell for any amount....

    if my sister in law did the dishes no whay in hell...
