      my favorite way is i just flew in from buffalo, and boy are my arms tired!

        Start with a sincere smile, eye contact and introduce yourself with your name. And then say something like "So glad to meet you"  or "Happy to meet you" and also give a true compliment early on in the conversation, but nothing too personal.  Something like, "I really like your haircut" or "Those shoes are fabulous!" or "I've heard really great things about your work!", and let it flow from there. Just stay engaged and keep good eye contact..............
