Also given for stomach and duodenal ulcers in combination with a two week treatment of antibiotics to irradication the H.Pylori bacteria which is responsible for in the region of 90% of gastric and duodenal ulcers - discovered not so very long ago by a New Zealand scientist - after the course will usually never re occur and a small dose being given by itself as prophylaxis for a time. Drugs in the UK always have two names written on the box one manufacturer other generic the other name being zoton here.
