    why does my 1998 saturn sl2 now gets 5 miles less per gallon of gas AFTER a tune up, etc?

    I have seen a driop from 31 miles per gallon to 26 AFTER a tune up, oil change, air filter, and gas filter. My mechanic says it's the summer fuel make up. ???

      He's partially correct but i don't think the summer fuel has arrived yet-- I think you got a bad tuneup job.. tell him to scope it again..

        I don't think so. I had similar problem with my car. took it back to dealer and it was adjusted incorrectly.
